Duties and responsibilities:Pediatrics is the medical specialty that studies the child and its diseases. The term comes from the Greek postpaid child  and  area ,healing  but its content is much higher than the cure of diseases of children , since pediatric studies both healthy children and the sick.

Chronologically , pediatrics covers from birth through adolescence. Within it several periods: newborn 0-6 days , neonatal 7-29 days, infants less infant 1-12 months of life , most infants 1-2 years , preschool 2-5 years  , school 5-10 years , Pr-teen 10-12 years and adolescents 12-18 years.
